HopeLinc Launches AI-Driven Online Recovery Program
And other ministries making a difference

In its 2025 Ministry Impact Report, Youth For Christ USA reported its fourth consecutive year of growth in ministry impact by engaging “a curious Gen Alpha” and empowering “a courageous Gen Z.” Key highlights include increases in the number of kids plugged into a fellowship, kids making a first-time proclamation of faith in Christ, and kids who began “3Story relationships” with peers (discipleship relationships with young teenagers in difficult, pivotal life situations). YFC also launched a new program aimed at helping young people work through mental health issues and traumatic experiences.

HopeLinc, a Christian ministry aimed at helping people overcome addictions, is shifting its mission focus from providing financial aid to walking alongside clients in their journey toward healing and sobriety. Initially created to provide finances to help people get into treatment, the ministry has now launched its own long-form 180- to 365-day, faith-based recovery program available completely online. Using AI-driven guidance, the HopeLinc Recovery Ecosystem adjusts the education, Scripture, and biblical encouragement to an individual’s recovery journey.

Discovery Church in Prescott, Arizona, hosted its second Truly Free Market event, serving over 500 people with clothing, shoes, appliances, and furniture. A hairdresser gave free haircuts, volunteers handed out grocery cards, and men from a nearby drug rehab center received new jackets and flannels. Church members donated the items—arranged to mimic a retail store—including diapers, wipes, dish soap, and laundry detergent. Local businesses and other nonprofits also donated.

Wichita First Church of the Nazarene in Wichita, Kansas, partnered with Nazarene Discipleship International and the Welch Therapy Institute to host the Responsive Relationship Marriage Conference in October. Forty couples participated with the goal of strengthening their marriage or training to be “marriage champions” in their own local churches. Marriage champions have access to a year of mentoring with the Welch Therapy Institute.
