Summary:

The Colson Center for Christian Worldview, began in its current form as an organization in 2016, but its inspiration arose from Chuck Colson when he began his BreakPoint radio broadcasts in 1991.

The Colson Center for Christian Worldview is a group of thoughtful, evangelical Christian intellectual individuals, placing a high value on reason and philosophical Christian ideals, applying them to our society from a Christian worldview.  It is a type of “think tank” of about 25 employees and 200 volunteers, fleshing out topics and developing training and suggesting action for Christians to articulate and engage our culture, politics and current events, with a thoughtful Christian perspective.

The Colson Center for Christian Worldview has steadily built multiple resources into a loose library, or curriculum, with such broad topics to help Christians understand how their faith connects to all parts of life, and motivate them to effectively engage the culture.  They do this through media devices of articles, videos, radio, podcasts, blogs and live events and conferences that bring together like-minded guest speakers.

They also offer a deeper dive into intellectual training which is called “Colson Fellows”, which was initially called “Centurions.”  It is a program to educate Christian men and women in worldview, culture, and cultural engagement.  To date, more than 2,000 people have completed the program.

The aim of The Colson Center for Christian Worldview is to thoughtfully articulate timely topics of the day, equipping and training Christians to engage our culture and to defend the faith in a way pleasing to God.
