The mid-September list curated from the MinistryWatch 1000 database includes the top 25 K-12 schools listed in order of revenue. This is the first time MinistryWatch has published this list, with information based on our data as of September 12, 2025.

The database includes a total of 52 schools with revenue totaling just over $1 billion.

The largest school in the database is Westminster Schools, a Christian day school in Atlanta that has operated since 1951 and has annual revenue of about $88.6 million.

The smallest on the list at No.25 is Asheville Christian Academy in North Carolina with about $14.6 million in annual revenue.

Every school in the MinistryWatch 1000 database files a Form 990 with the Internal Revenue Service, and many are members of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability.

At the far right is a column showing the amount of government grants received by each school. This number is taken from the school’s Form 990.

The school receiving the most in government grants — $2.7 million — was Timothy Christian Schools, a non-denominational, Biblically-rooted school in Elmhurst, Illinois.

The list includes columns showing the transparency grade, financial efficiency rating, and donor confidence score for each school. To learn more about a school, click on its name to open its database profile.
