It’s a bit of a surprise to me that the most read story on the MinistryWatch website this week was Kim Roberts’ story about the Evangelical Presbyterian Church and one of its congregations trying to leave the denomination. If you missed it, you can read it here.

But first, the Church of England head Justin Welby has resigned over his handling of a sexual abuse case. Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby, head of the Church of England and spiritual leader of the global Anglican Communion, resigned Tuesday.
