ONE YEAR AGO: On July 15, 2024, MinistryWatch reported that Bill Hwang of Archegos Capital Management was found guilty of racketeering, securities fraud, market manipulation and wire fraud. The jury convicted him on all but one of 11 counts, each of which carried a maximum 20-year sentence. Read more here.

TWO YEARS AGO: On July 16, 2023, MinistryWatch reported that popular worship leader Matt Redman reported that both he and his wife had suffered “harmful behavior and mistreatment” at the hands of their former pastor Mike Pilavachi. Read more here.
