Adult and Teen Challenge (formerly known as Teen Challenge), a Christian addiction recovery program with 200-plus residential facilities across the United States, is broadening their offerings to include Ready Now Recovery for people with addictions who aren’t ready or able to enter a residential program. The weekly meetings will be offered in-person and via the virtual platform Sober Peer, an app that “monitors participants and tracks data daily that partakers enter.” The new program will focus on the five basic components of spiritual growth, social development, emotional intelligence, addiction education, and practical life skills.

Apartment Life, a Christian nonprofit that serves the apartment industry, is expanding into active adult and senior living communities. Apartment Life fosters community within complexes by hosting events, providing support resources, and building relationships with staff and residents and operates in 33 states and Canada.

New Beginnings Pregnancy Center in Benton, Arkansas, was founded in 2003 as a ministry to pregnant teens and has grown to serve pregnant women of all ages by offering ultrasounds, pregnancy tests, and baby items such as diapers, wipes, formula, and clothing. The center also provides counseling, parenting classes, mentoring, and Bible studies. Local groups from Woman’s Missionary Union partner with New Beginnings to donate items and services, according to Baptist Press. SBA List has estimated that there are more than 2,700 pregnancy centers across the United States, providing almost 2 million people with free services in 2017.
