JESUS Film Project, Adult & Teen Challenge
Uncharted Ministries is helping to pay off the debts of Christian families in Pakistan who have become enslaved to brickyard owners who promise freedom but, through high interest rates and deceptive bookkeeping, fail to deliver. So far, the ministry has helped free 21 families. Uncharted Ministries has 5 stars and an “A” transparency grade in the MinistryWatch database, and a donor confidence score of 97.
The JESUS Film Project has begun work on a new adaptation of its famous film for the next generation. The animated version, slated to release in December 2026, will use many of the audio tracks already recorded for the live film, which has been translated into more than 2,000 languages. Holly Newell with the JESUS Film Project says the original 1979 film is the most viewed film of all time—it’s been viewed 11 billion times in the past 45 years, according to Mission Network News. The JESUS Film Project is a ministry of Cru, which has three stars and a “C” transparency grade in the MinistryWatch database, and a donor confidence score of 73.
Outreach Aid to the Americas (OAA) helped lead the International Hurricane Seminar 2024 in Mexico this spring, aimed at equipping airports to respond in natural disasters, including preparing for humanitarian aid reception and developing effective communication chains. The ministry serves “vulnerable communities in Central America and the Caribbean through relief assistance, development programs, and freedom of religion or belief advocacy.” OAA has 5 stars and an “A” transparency grade in the MinistryWatch database, and a donor confidence score of 98.
The Wisconsin Great Lakes chapter of Adult & Teen Challenge was recognized at the Republican National Convention by having its choir sing the National Anthem. Participation in the group’s choir, which tours the state annually, is required for the 43 men and women enrolled in the 12-month addiction and recovery program.
