This year, Star of Hope Ministries celebrated 110 years of serving hurting communities in New Jersey. Launched in 1913 as a “preaching station” and a rescue mission for men struggling with addiction and homelessness, the ministry has transitioned into a network for local churches to collaborate on shared missions. This year, churches from Paterson, Newark, and Willingboro delivered Thanksgiving holiday meals to hundreds of families in those communities.

Mission Eurasia is caring for victims in three countries devastated by war. The ministry’s volunteers and partners are sharing Gifts of Hope presents with kids in Ukraine and Armenia, and providing families devastated by terrorist attacks of Hamas in Israel with I-Care food boxes. Mission Eurasia has 5 stars and an “A” transparency grade in the MinistryWatch database, and a 97 donor confidence score.

The Jesus Film Project of Campus Crusade for Christ (JFP-CRU) awarded Brian Helstrom, executive director of Jesus Film Harvest Partners (JFHP) with its prestigious Hope Medallion Award for his ministry’s 26-year partnership leveraging the JESUS Film to evangelize, disciple, and plant churches around the world. JFP-CRU has given JFHP—a ministry of Church of the Nazarene—free use of its film, and JFHP has since reported more than 18.8 million decisions for Christ as a result. Cru has 3 stars and an “A” transparency grade in the MinistryWatch database, and a donor confidence score of 74.

This year, AMG International, through local church partnerships, has provided thousands in Myanmar with food and other urgent needs as a nationwide rebellion broke out in late October, displacing some 335,000 people in just one month. AMG International has 1 star and an “A” transparency grade in the MinistryWatch database, and a donor confidence score of 90.
