AGCI reinstated to ECFA after technical glitch resulted in their removal.

All God’s Children International (AGCI) is back on the membership roster of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability after a technical error resulted in their removal.

On April 28, the ECFA terminated the membership of All God’s Children International (AGCI) for failure to provide complete renewal information. The ECFA requires its members to complete an annual accreditation renewal process “to assure that each member organization faithfully adheres to and complies with the ECFA Standards.”

“Recently, AGCI experienced an administrative disruption in our ECFA renewal process caused by a technical email authentication issue that prevented us from receiving certain renewal communications,” ACGI VP of Finance Felicia Christensen told MinistryWatch. “Once this issue was identified, we acted immediately to resolve it. AGCI promptly completed and submitted all required ECFA renewal materials, including payment, and ECFA has acknowledged receipt of our completed application.”

On May 13, ECFA reinstated ACGI’s membership status. The ministry’s ECFA profile confirms it has been a member since 2011.

“This matter was administrative and technical in nature and was not related to concerns regarding AGCI’s financial integrity, governance, compliance, or stewardship practices,” Christensen said. “AGCI welcomes external accountability and believes that transparency strengthens trust with donors, partners, and the communities we serve. We remain fully committed to operating with integrity and in alignment with ECFA’s standards and best practices.”

All God’s Children, an orphan care ministry, is “the world’s leading child advocacy and trauma disruptor organization.” Working “to defend the rights of children and restore those separated from family,” AGCI’s mission is to “disrupt trauma, empower families, and transform the systems that keep them apart.”

AGCI offers numerous ways to get involved, including financial donations, child sponsorship, and media outreach. AGCI updates its donors and partners through the Stories of Possibilities page, a collection of videos and articles from all around the world.

AGCI is looking ahead to the upcoming Trauma Disruptor Coalition (TDC) Conference, September 29–30 in Austin, Texas, and invites “like-minded individuals who want to implement trauma-informed practices in their lives, workplaces, and families” to attend.
