Biblical Ministries Worldwide (BMW) has seen a number of its ratings rise over the last few months. Most notably, its Transparency Grade has moved from a D to a C.

In addition, in March of this year, the organization became a member of the ECFA, raising its MinistryWatch Donor Confidence Score—from 30 to 65 points.
A score of 65 is still in the “Give With Caution” category largely because the organization does not make its 990s public. The non-profit petitioned the IRS to be reclassified as “an association of churches,” and as a result of its “church” status, BMW has not released Form 990s since 2020.
Some of its more recent financial information is available through the organization’s ECFA profile. In 2022, BMW had $16.7 million in revenue and $16.4 million in expenses. It also had $10.8 million in net assets.
For comparison, in its last 990 available to the public in 2020, BMW had $13.4 million in revenue.
Biblical Ministries Worldwide is based in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The organization partners with local churches to send missionaries and plant churches. It offers a platform to financially support missionaries, as well as short-term mission opportunities. The organization also owns Key Radio, an AM radio station that broadcasts Christian programming in Utah.
According to its website, its mission is “to serve local churches and their missionaries as they plant healthy churches everywhere through evangelism, discipleship, and leadership development.”
