Bible printing ministry, Matt Chandler’s return, Josh Duggar convicted, Mars Hill controversy

ONE YEAR AGO: On November 27, 2023, MinistryWatch reported about the work of the Bible and Literature Missionary Foundation, a printing ministry of Victory Baptist Church in Shelbyville, Tennessee. TWO YEARS AGO:  On December 5, 2022, MinistryWatch reported that Dallas-area megachurch pastor Matt Chandler returned to the pulpit after a three-month leave of absence. The Village Church’s board of elders reinstated him following disciplinary actions for Chandler’s “inappropriate” social media relationship with a woman who was not his wife. His congregation greeted his return with a standing ovation. THREE YEARS AGO:  On December 9, 2021, MinistryWatch reported about reality TV star and ministry leader Josh Duggar being convicted of child porn possession. In 2022, he was sentenced to 12 years in prison, and in 2023, his conviction was upheld. Read more here.
