Below is a list of the largest media ministries in the U.S. based on the current data in the MinistryWatch 1000 database as of July 28, 2025. Please check the database profile for a particular ministry for the most updated information.

The 50 largest ministries are listed in order of total revenue. The total revenue for these 50 organizations exceeds $1.9 billion.

While many ministries include media components as part of their outreach, the list below includes those ministries whose work MinistryWatch considers primarily media driven. They include media organizations — such as television and radio networks — as well as “teaching and preaching ministries” whose presence is primarily on radio and television.

The two categories in the MinistryWatch 1000 database that are included on this list are “Educational Media” and the “Radio/TV Stations.”

The top 10 ministries have not changed much since 2024 — just shuffled around a bit. Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) and Educational Media Foundation, which operates K-LOVE and Air 1 Stations, remain the top two by revenue.

Out of the top 10 ministries, five no longer complete an informational Form 990 with the Internal Revenue Service. Groups marked with an asterisk (*) have revenue numbers drawn from other sources, such as their profile with the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) or their audited financial statement.

Five ministries are on this year’s list that were not on the same list in 2024. They are Discovering the Jewish Jesus (23), Far East Broadcasting Company (29), Reach Beyond (43), Voice of Prophecy (47), and Dutch Sheets Ministries (50).

It is important to note that this list does NOT include a number of for-profit organizations, including the Salem Radio Network and the Bott Radio Network.
