Missionary Aviation Repair Center (MARC) is working to expand the reach of the gospel in Alaska in three ways: flying people and supplies where there are no roads, supporting other missionaries and their aircraft, and training missionary-minded pilots and mechanics. MARC’s mission is advancing the Kingdom of God to isolated people with aviation excellence.

“Alaska is one of the most rugged and remote places on earth with more than 230 villages lacking connection by road,” MARC says on its website. “The obstacles of terrain and distance must be overcome to reach the people of these isolated communities with the hope of Jesus Christ. We use aviation to serve pastors, missionaries, churches and other Christian organizations in these hard-to-reach places to advance the Kingdom of God.:

MARC has been “giving wings to Alaska missions since 1964.”

MinistryWatch assigns MARC a 98/100 for donor confidence, empowering Christian donors to “Give With Confidence.”

It also earns a five-star financial efficiency rating, although MARC’s financials are only updated as of 2023. MARC has not listed its financial data publicly for 2024 or 2025.

Missionary Aviation Repair Center has a C Transparency Grade—its Form 990 is publicly available and it is registered as a member of the ECFA, but it does not post audited financial statements.
