MINISTRY SPOTLIGHT: Choice Books of Northern Virginia
Choice Books of Northern Virginia (Choice Books) began in 1991 to provide wholesome and Biblical reading material to the general public by placing displays of books in retail outlets.
In 2022, Choice Books employed about 300 people with 24 district warehouses servicing the continental United States and Hawaii. In addition, it held book displays in 8,326 locations, including Walmart stores, gift shops, cafes, pharmacies, news stands, restaurants, and hospitals.

Choice Books provides a large variety of book genres, including: Bibles, Christian living, fiction, non-fiction, personal growth, leadership, children, homeschool, and Sunday School. It also sells holiday books, Bible covers, DVDs, music, and books in Spanish.
Aside from retail displays, Choice Books also sells its books directly from its website, many of them discounted by 10% to 80%.
Choice Books is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt entity, so donations are deductible. However, the majority of its revenue is from the sale of books. In 2022, only about 1% of its revenue was from contributions.
Choice Books continues to partner with new places to set up its book displays.
The aim of Choice Books of Northern Virginia is to provide inspirational, wholesome, and family-oriented reading materials as a direct-store-delivery distributor.
