Global Reunion hosted 120 participants—known as Third Culture Kids (TCKs) and Third Culture Adults (TCAs)—at its recent 16th annual camp in June, held at Oklahoma Christian University. Co-founded by missionary Kent Hartman, Global Reunion was started in 2006 for missionary teens adjusting to culture in the U.S. and expanded a few years later to include parents and adults.

YFC Military, launched in 1980 at the request of U.S. Army chaplains, was restructured as a chapter of Youth For Christ to better serve youth in military families who face unique challenges such as frequent moves and deployed parents. The men’s shelter for Jericho Road Ministries in Florida averaged 95% capacity for the month of June, compared with 70% capacity in January, and, between their various shelters, the ministry is on track to provide 16,000 nights of shelter in 2022—a 40% increase from 2021, according to CEO Andrew Chamberlin. Jericho Road operates homeless shelters, food distribution services, thrift stores, and a long-term recovery program. It has three stars and an “A” transparency grade in the MinistryWatch database, and a donor confidence score of 95.
