Thanks to the fundraising efforts of two Kansas students, a Nazarene church in the Amazon region of Ecuador (Iglesia del Nazareno Renacer Huamboya) built a playground on their property to serve the community’s children. Jack and Savannah Armstrong raised $1,000 selling packets of cookie dough as part of their church’s “Parable Projects”—an initiative of Central Church of the Nazarene in Lenexa, Kansas, that involves coaching students in managing their own community projects.

So far this year, Favor International has been involved in more than 75,000 salvations, and discipled 86,970 people, according to the ministry’s 3rd Quarter report. It has trained almost 29,282 students through its portable Bible school, and impacted 5,003 women through its women empowerment program. Favor International, which trains leaders in East African war zones to sustainably change their communities, has five stars and an “A” transparency grade in the MinistryWatch database, and a donor confidence score of 97.
