Heaven’s Family, Love Nairobi Festival, relief in Armenia, and more.

Heaven’s Family says their partner in Myanmar is working to help trafficking victims who call into their hotline. So far this year, they say 172 victims have been rescued and helped to return home. Heaven’s Family has five stars and an “A” transparency grade in the MinistryWatch database, and a donor confidence score of 96.

Samaritan’s Purse this weekend airlifted more than 30 tons of emergency relief supplies—such as blankets, solar lights, and food—to help families fleeing to Armenia after violence erupted in September. They are also deploying two burn specialty teams to provide surgical care for burn patients impacted by a gas station explosion nearby. Samaritan’s Purse has two stars and an “A” transparency grade in the MinistryWatch database, and a donor confidence score of 60.

The Luis Palau Association partnered with more than 2,000 churches from various denominations to put on the Love Nairobi Festival in Kenya. The free three-day evangelistic festival, held Sept. 15-17, featured live music, sports, a family activities, uniting churches in the region to share the Gospel with the more than 130,000 people who attended. The Luis Palau Evangelistic Association has one star and an “A” transparency grade in the MinistryWatch database, and a donor confidence score of 82.

Members of the First Church of the Nazarene in Jiquipilas, Mexico, came together to host a discipleship conference for women in the region. Men cooked and served meals to attendees, and the youth were in charge of praise times, decorations, and technology. More than 170 women attended.
