Ep. 32: A Conversation with Julie Roys

Regular listeners to the program know that this month we began these “MinistryWatch Extra” episodes.  We will continue our regular Friday weekly roundup episodes.  Those are episodes I co-host with Natasha Smith.  But these MinistryWatch Extra episodes are a chance for us to “go deep,” you might say, with our editorial partners.

Today, I’m pleased to have on the program Julie Roys.  Julie Roys runs The Roys Report, an investigative journalism website.  She also has a podcast of the same name.  Julie holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL, and a master’s degree in broadcast journalism from the prestigious Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.  And that’s all I’m going to say for now about Julie’s biography, because I’d like to start the program by talking to her about her story, and why and how she does what she does today.  So, with that…Julie, welcome to the program.

Here at MinistryWatch, we bring you news about Christian ministries as well as the latest in charity and philanthropy, all designed to help us become better stewards of the resources God has entrusted to us.

The producers for today’s program are Rich Roszel and Steve Gandy.   We get database, technical, and editorial support from Cathy Goddard, Stephen DuBarry, Christina Darnell, and Casey Sudduth.

Until next time, may God bless you.
