Summary:  Free Wheelchair Mission

Free Wheelchair Mission began in 2001, to provide free wheelchairs to the physically disabled poor in developing countries.  In the past fiscal year, ending June 30, 2021 they sent 47,556 wheelchairs throughout the world, and trained partners to assemble, maintain and use the wheelchairs.  Since their beginning they have sent more than one million wheelchairs, into 94 countries.  They also receive various medical supplies, such as durable wheelchair accessories that enhance the utility of the wheelchairs.  In addition, they are given various medical supplies that they distribute, such as masks, surgical tools, and mobility aids and items that can support surgeries.  They are motivated by their faith in Jesus Christ to do so, and when possible, they let wheelchair recipients know that they are loved by God.  They estimate that there are about 75 million people worldwide still waiting for a wheelchair.  The aim of Free Wheelchair Mission is to show the love of God by providing a wheelchair to everyone that needs one in developing nations.
