Samaritan’s Purse unfairly labeled an ‘abuser’ of expensive private planes

Your recent article on ministries’ use of private planes appears to harbor an unwarranted, indeed highly suspicious, prejudice.

You go far to highlight — one might say ‘accuse’ — Samaritan’s Purse as one of the top two (ab)users of expensive private plane use. Whereas, statistically, their mileage is, according to your listing, among the lowest.

This despite the fact that the Rev. Franklin Graham is conspicuously running around the country from coast to coast as one of the most involved and effective providers of relief, sustenance, and spiritual care for disaster victims everywhere.  It is therefore surprising that his (and his team’s) air miles are not defensibly 300% of what they are.

You normally do yeoman work. In this case, however, you need to promptly explain yourselves!

Samaritan’s Purse shouldn’t be listed with ‘obvious faith frauds’

Few men do I respect more than Franklin Graham. And Samaritan’s Purse is absolutely incredible with the speedy way they appear at every natural disaster and do great work for Christ.

To put them on a list with so many obvious faith frauds is almost slanderous. They have boards, donors and family, etc., they report to. I’m sure Franklin and his family are in constant need of personal protection. There are very few people the left hates more than Franklin.  And we know from recent events in our country exactly how they operate when they hate someone. The Grahams and Samaritan’s Purse are capable of deciding when to use a private aircraft.

Just because MW “considers” something “excessive” doesn’t make it so.
