TWO YEARS AGO: On March 23, 2023, MinistryWatch reported that the Ankerberg Institute for Theological Research had raised about $20 million for audio Bibles on its flagship program but had spent only about 20%, or $4 million, on the Bibles themselves. In August, the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability terminated the ministry’s membership. Read more here.
