Wichita Falls Pastor Charged With Sexually Assaulting 11-Year-Old Girl

Last week, Wichita Falls Police in Texas arrested a pastor for sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl. The girl’s family attends his church.

Paul Coleman, 66, is the founder of Good Samaritan Outreach Ministries, which has two formally-registered locations—one in Texas and the other in California. Coleman was jailed Saturday for charges of sexual assault and indecency with a child.

Arrest warrants say an 11-year-old girl visited the hospital and Patsy’s House, a children’s advocacy center, and shared details of the assault. The girl said it began with Coleman kissing her at the Wichita Falls church and his home.

On November 19, she found Coleman with his pants down around his ankles after she came out of the church bathroom. He then pulled her pants and underwear down and sexually assaulted her. She pushed him away, pulled up her clothes, and left the church. She said Coleman threatened to kill her if she told anyone what happened.

In an interview with Patsy’s House, one of the girl’s brothers said he heard his sister telling Coleman to get off her and saw her against a wall.

The brother said Coleman threatened him and told him to get out. He said Coleman told him not to tell anyone or he would do something to him.

According to his Linkedin profile, Coleman is a retired policeman, and social media records say he attended Cleveland Bible Institute.

The Good Samaritan Outreach Ministries in Escondido, California, has switched between suspended and active status on and off since 2003. The Escondido location is currently suspended. Coleman registered the Wichita Falls location in 2019. However, it is listed as inactive for forfeited existence. Although Good Samaritan has an active Facebook page, the Wichita Falls location has been inactive for the last three years.

Coleman’s bail is two separate charges totaling $300,000.
