Fundraising report shows small donations continue to fall, but major donors are giving more
The number of donors plummeted 4.5% during 2024, with fundraising saved only by major and supersized donors providing more support, according to new data from the Fundraising Effectiveness Project (FEP).
The most significant driver of overall fundraising results during 2020 was donor retention. And, Canadian fundraising got hit a lot harder than those in the United States when it came to overall giving.
