TWO YEARS AGO: On April 2, 2024, MinistryWatch reported about Orlando Coleman, a Houston man claiming to be a bishop who was sentenced to three years for bigamy. Prosecutors believe he had been married to at least 10 different women over the past 20 years. Read more here.

THREE YEARS AGO: On April 4, 2023, MinistryWatch reported that Joe Rigney, Bethlehem Seminary president with ties to influential author John Piper and Idaho pastor Doug Wilson, resigned due to what the school’s board called a “divergence of vision.” The seminary named Brian Tabb president in 2024. Read more here.
