Ministry Spotlight: Time to Revive

Evangelistic ministry’s scores drop after failing to post updated financials

Time to Revive recently lost its 5-star financial efficiency rating, automatically dropping to zero stars after failing to file a Form 990 with the IRS.

Time to Revive

Without an updated Form 990 or posted audited financials, its financial records are out of date and do not accurately reflect the financial decisions of the ministry. The Form 990 highlights revenue, expenses, fundraising costs, and executive salaries. MinistryWatch believes all ministries should file a Form 990, regardless of their classification by the IRS.

According to its profile in the MinistryWatch database, Time to Revive (TTR) is a ministry in the Christian Growth sector that partners with local churches throughout the United States, bringing believers together across denominational lines and inspiring them to obey the Great Commission and make disciples through dynamic hands-on training.

In addition to partnering with churches, TTR also works with civic leaders, the business sector, schools and universities, media outlets, the arts and the family unit to bring the entire community together to see city transformation through the message of the Gospel.

Time to Revive dropped from a 73 donor confidence score to a 49—falling from a “Give With Confidence” designation to “Give With Caution”—largely due to its lack of updated financial information. Additionally, its transparency grade fell from an A to a D. If TTR were to make a more recent Form 990 publicly available (must be filed within the last three years), its scores would be positively impacted.

MinistryWatch made multiple attempts to contact Time to Revive. It did not respond.

Time to Revive has a D Transparency Grade—a recent Form 990 is not publicly available and its audited financial statements are not posted, but it is a member of the EFCA.
