MINISTRY SPOTLIGHT: Bible Study Fellowship

Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) began in 1960 to conduct Bible study classes in the United States and throughout the world.

BSF has significant operations in the following overseas countries: Hong Kong, Indonesia, the United Kingdom, Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, Philippines, Taiwan, and New Zealand.

In 2022, BSF employed 109 people and conducted 1,385 in-person classes and 6,918 satellite discussion groups in 36 different countries with the help of about 50,160 volunteers.

In addition, BSF conducted 1,976 online discussion groups with participants from 166 countries. The ministry also recorded more than 70,000 people using its self-guided study format through its WordGo App. Its online options are a growing strategic decision by BSF to invest in technology to expand its reach to people of all ages, races, countries and cultures.

BSF’s primary source of revenue is contributions from individual donors and those attending its classes around the world; however, BSF maintains that it does not charge class members for participating.

BSF also hosts an annual Leader Event, a day of inspiration and teaching for leaders around the world. The Leader Event provides a platform to unite, inspire and mobilize BSF’s global leadership team.

The aim of Bible Study Fellowship is to magnify God and produce mature people through in-depth Bible study and community who are passionate about Christ, His Word and His Church.
