Snake wrangling, summer festivals, Sunday school in the slums, and relief supplies
On Friday, Samaritan’s Purse airlifted more than 40,000 pounds of relief supplies in a DC-8 cargo plane to people suffering in Ukraine following the collapse of a crucial dam in the Kherson region. Supplies include blankets, water filters, hygiene kits, and more. Samaritan’s Purse has two stars and an “A” transparency grade in the MinistryWatch database, and a donor confidence score of 60.
A pastor in Henderson, Nevada, offers a unique service to members of his community free of charge—he catches and removes rattlesnakes found in people’s yards. An experienced snake-wrangler, Tim Agnello is pastor of Mosaic Church and says this is one of the creative ministries his church has found to serve the community.

Mission UpReach’s ESPERO School for Deaf Adults in Honduras hosted a summer festival to celebrate its students. Activities included clowns, magic tricks, displays of work created by students, and the students gave presentations in Honduran sign language.
Kawangware Church of the Nazarene serves a slum area in Africa that is home to 650,000 residents, 60% of whom are children and youth. The church recently dedicated a new Sunday School building that includes digital screens, technology to share the Gospel, and a baptism pool. The church also distributes clean water and other hygiene necessities.
