‘Seek and Save’ events—an initiative of Assemblies of God churches—grew from two events in 2022 to nine in 2023. In the initiative’s first two years, nearly 500 churches recorded 5,000 engagements through the evangelistic community block parties, 2,500 salvations, and 150 people being baptized with the help of 3,600 volunteers. They also distributed more than 55,000 bags of Convoy of Hope groceries. AG is planning 10 Seek and Save events in cities across the U.S. in 2024.

Members of Hillcrest Church of the Nazarene in Vancouver, Washington, partnered with a local Chipotle this cold season to deliver over 1,700 pounds of hot meals to the city’s homeless population during training weeks leading up to the restaurant’s opening, as well as to the staff of two local elementary schools.

Youth for Christ, in its 2023 Ministry Report, says 7,855 youth made decisions for Christ in fiscal year 2022-2023 as a result of its ministry, up from 7,323 decisions in 2021-2022. Youth for Christ USA has two stars and a “C” transparency grade in the MinistryWatch database, and a donor confidence score of 80.

In December, ChinaAid awarded human rights lawyer Li Yuhan with its 2023 Lin Zhao Freedom Award from a group of five qualified nominations. ChinaAid has four stars and an “A” transparency grade in the MinistryWatch database, and a donor confidence score of 97.
