Since its inception in 2014, Trail Life USA—a scouting group launched as a Christian alternative to the Boy Scouts of America—has grown from 500 troops and 10,000 members to now boasting more than 50,000 active members, 20,000 adult volunteers, and 1,200 affiliated churches in all 50 states. Aberdeen First Assembly of God in Aberdeen, South Dakota, hosted its Rescue Escape Room to raise money and awareness about human trafficking. The funds raised will go to support Project Rescue’s Village Project, which is working to break the cycle of sex slavery in Southern Asia by providing education and vocational training, performing medical and home repair outreaches, and through plans to build a safe home for girls.
