Christian YouTuber ‘Kdub’ Williams Responds to Rebuke Following Affair
Says he has repented of ‘emotional’ affair—but the marriage is still ending

Christian YouTuber Kris “Kdub” Williams, creator of All Things Theology, has issued a public response after being formally rebuked for engaging in an adulterous relationship with a woman not his wife.

Williams, a Christian YouTuber who once reached 90K+ subscribers, runs the “All Things Theology” channel under the handle @Kdubtru. His content spans topics like Christian hip hop, church culture insights, and in-depth sermon critiques.
In May, Heritage Grace Community Church in Frisco, Texas, announced that it was disciplining Williams, stating he no longer has their endorsement due to his alleged engagement in an adulterous online relationship, which has caused him to seek a divorce from his wife.
“Kris has been placed under church discipline (according to Matthew 18) for continuing to pursue an online, long-distance adulterous relationship with another woman (while married) and habitually living a double life. The church has been exhorted to pursue him to call Kris to repentance and reconciliation with Christ and his family. HGCC is making this a public notice because of Kris’ online ministry, ‘All Things Theology,’ which has been associated with HGCC,” the pastors wrote.
“Since he is no longer in good standing as a member of HGCC, we can no longer approve or promote his ministry in good conscience. We will continue to call him to repent from his sin, turn in faith to Christ to receive forgiveness, and be reconciled. We ask the church to join us in praying for Kris and his family.”
Justin Peters, who operates Justin Peters Ministries in Oklahoma, also recanted his endorsement of Williams’ ministry and called the allegations “utterly heartbreaking.”
“I have enjoyed Kris’s teaching on YouTube and here on this site. I have met him and commended him to others publicly, and so it grieves me beyond words to see this. It goes without saying that my recommendation of him is retracted,” Peters wrote in a statement on X.

“His ministry should have stopped when this sin was first discovered. We should pray for his repentance, the state of his soul, and for his wife and family. Men, if you betray your wife, you have betrayed Christ. Love your wife as Christ loves the church,” he added.
Williams has responded to the public criticisms in a video titled “Let’s talk about it…” In the video, he admitted to having an emotional affair—clarifying there was no sexual relationship or exchange of inappropriate content—and expressed remorse and repentance. He denied rumors of leaving his marriage and adopted son (Micah) to pursue a romantic relationship with another woman.
Still, in a comment pinned underneath the video, Williams admitted that the marriage was ending: “Let me say again: I was wrong for having an emotional affair. I make no excuses for this. Things were said that should never be said. I will say I haven’t abandoned Micah, I see him weekly. And desire to still be in his life if I’m able to. I love my son,” he said.
“Unfortunately, there were many problems in the marriage. I’m willing to take responsibility for my part I played in it. Please forgive me all. But unfortunately this relationship is ending. I won’t give the details, please respect my privacy. Thank you.”
William’s wife, Tonia, had initially responded to Peter’s statement on X saying, “Thanks to those who are genuinely praying. Please continue to pray. It’s a time of severe testing and trial for me. Pray for the Lord’s increased grace.”
