My Faith Votes, “a non-partisan movement that motivates, equips and activates Christians in America to vote in every election,” is now a ministry of Million Voices.
According to a post on the My Faith Votes website, the two joined forces in February 2025, with the desire that the partnership “will expand and accelerate our efforts to reach faith-driven voters—creating one of the most sophisticated and effective voter mobilization efforts in America.”
In November 2024, former My Faith Votes CEO Jason Yates was charged with eight felony counts of possession of child pornography. In July, he pleaded guilty to possession charges.
My Faith Votes was founded in 2015 by Sealy Yates to reach millions of Christian, urging them to vote based on biblical values.
Both Mike Huckabee and Ben Carson have served as honorary chairmen of My Faith Votes.
Million Voices is led by attorney John Graves and is also engaged in promoting grassroots Christian involvement in political matters by facilitating contact with Congressional representatives, producing voter guides, and encouraging prayer for leaders.
Besides leading Million Voices, Graves is a business owner, ordained pastor, and creator of Digital Door Knocking™ and Acts2028Pastors.
Graves has also led Vision America since 2016. Vision America was founded by pastor and activist Rick Scarborough, a self-described “Christocrat.” Scarborough now leads Recover America.
In the partnership announcement Graves expressed his excitement, stating, “This is a moment of kingdom collaboration—a unity of vision, resources, and impact that will equip Christians to stand for truth and biblical values like never before.”
While the My Faith Votes website is still active, the Donate Now button takes potential donors to a page where Million Voices is listed.
Additionally, the bottom of the My Faith Votes website states, “My Faith Votes is a registered trade name of Million Voices, a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Charity and an Association of Churches under IRC 509(a)(1) and 170(b)(1)(A)(i). Donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.”
While My Faith Votes filed a Form 990 in for its fiscal year 2023, Million Voices does not file a Form 990 because it claims a church exemption.
In the MinistryWatch 1000 database, Million Voices has an F transparency grade and a donor confidence score of 4, meaning donors should withhold giving.
Million Voices did not reply to multiple requests for information about the future of My Faith Votes, whether the two organizations will function independently, or whether My Faith Votes will be subsumed by Million Voices.
