MinistryWatch Database: Largest K-12 Schools Westminster Schools in Atlanta is the largest school by revenue.

The mid-September list, curated from the MinistryWatch database, includes the top 50 K-12 schools ranked by revenue. This is the second time MinistryWatch has published this list, which is based on data as of Sept. 14, 2026.

The database now includes 227 schools, up from 52 a year ago, with revenue totaling more than $3.5 billion.

Westminster Schools, a Christian day school in Atlanta that has operated since 1951, again ranks as the largest school in the database, with annual revenue of about $94.5 million.

The smallest school on the list, at No. 50, is Christian Academy of Knoxville, with about $21.3 million in annual revenue.

Four schools new to the database in the past year also debuted in the top 10: Oaks Christian School, The King’s Academy, St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Austin and Parish Episcopal School.

Every school on the MinistryWatch list files a Form 990 with the Internal Revenue Service, and 10 are members of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability.

A column at the far right of the list shows the amount of government grants each school received, based on figures from its Form 990.

The school receiving the most in government grants — $43.5 million — was Faith Family Academy, a free, open-enrollment charter school system in DeSoto, Texas.
