Below is a list of the 50 largest media ministries by total revenue based on the current data in the MinistryWatch 1000 database as of August 3, 2026. Please check the database profile of a particular ministry for the most updated information. 

The 50 largest media ministries come from two MinistryWatch database categories: educational media and radio/tv ministries. While many ministries include media components as part of their outreach, the list below includes those ministries whose work MinistryWatch considers primarily media driven. They include media organizations — such as television and radio networks — as well as “teaching and preaching ministries” whose presence is primarily on radio and television.

The ministries are listed in order of total revenue. There are 107 ministries in these two categories with revenue totaling about $2.2 billion.

Ministries with an asterisk beside their name indicate that we gathered their annual revenue from their ECFA profile or an annual audit posted on their website.

Some large media ministries, such as Daystar Network and Benny Hinn Ministries don’t file Form 990s and aren’t members of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA), making it difficult to include their annual revenue.

The top 10 ministries have not changed much since last year with one notable jump: Eternal Word Television Network jumped from the 8^th position in 2025 to the 4^th position this year. Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), Educational Media Foundation (which operates K-LOVE and Air 1 Stations), and Focus on the Family remain the top three by revenue.

Out of the top 10 ministries, five do not complete an informational Form 990 with the Internal Revenue Service. They are Focus on the Family, In Touch Ministries, Turning Point Ministries, Life in the Word, and Life Outreach International.

Five ministries are included on this year’s list that were not on the same list in 2025. They are TWR or Trans World Radio (14), United Methodist Church Publishing House (30), Christian Light Publications (40), Christian Television Network (44), and Inspiracom (50).

Several groups on the list last year fell off of this year’s list, including Love Worth Finding, the Ankerberg Theological Research Institute, and Impact Productions.

It is important to note that this list does NOT include a number of for-profit organizations, including the Salem Radio Network and the Bott Radio Network.
