MINISTRY SPOTLIGHT: Fuller Theological Seminary

Share

Summary:  Fuller Theological Seminary (Fuller) began in 1947, to train young evangelists and missionaries.  Fuller is an evangelical, multidenominational, seminary equipping men and women through graduate education.  Fuller provides three primary academic areas, the schools of Theology, Psychology, and Intercultural Studies.  Total enrollment is just under 4,000 students.  Fuller’s main campus is in Pasadena, California.  It has a few regional campuses, but it’s trend has been to close or reduce those, and maximize it’s efforts with increased growth of on-line courses.  In 2018 Fuller tried to sell its main campus and relocate, but it did not materialize, so late in 2019 it took it off the market.  In 2020, Fuller sold its Guest Center for about $20,000,000 to pay off outstanding debt.  The aim of the Fuller Theological Seminary is to train and equip men and women for various ministry opportunities and the Church.
