Prior to joining The Nonprofit Alliance, Bob was General Counsel to the Association of Direct Response Fundraising Counsel (ADRFCO), and Regulatory Counsel to the DMA Nonprofit Federation, both of Washington, D.C.  As lawyer/advisor to these two major direct response fundraising industry organizations, he worked on federal and state legislative issues, interacting with regulators, legislators, media, nonprofits, and fundraising consultants. Bob was educated at Johns Hopkins University and the National Law Center at George Washington University.  He began his nonprofit career as General Counsel and Director of Program Services at HALT, a nonprofit working to promote citizen self-reliance in legal matters. 
Adelle M. Banks is a senior production editor and national reporter for the Religion News Service, where she has worked since 1995. She previously served as the religion reporter at The Orlando Sentinel as well as a reporter in Providence, Binghamton, and Syracuse, and her work has appeared in USA Today, The Huffington Post, and Jet magazine. Banks won the 2014 Wilbur Award for digital communications and multimedia for her work on the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington, and she has twice been honored by the Religion Newswriters Association.

His work, which has also been published in The Atlantic and the Washington Post, and he is cited regularly in the New York Times, The New Yorker, the Wall Street Journal, National Public Radio, MSNBC, CNN, and other top media outlets. A graduate of Presbyterian College, Jenkins earned his Master of Divinity at Harvard University.
