Brady Boyd, who resigned as lead pastor of megachurch New Life Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in June, has started a new ministry — Psalm 68 Ministries.

According to the new ministry’s website, “Psalm 68 Ministries started in [the Boyd’s] home in June of 2025. After pastoring faithfully at New Life Church for almost two decades, our calling to serve widows, orphans and the forgotten, as well as ministry leaders, remains alive and active.”
Boyd had served at Gateway Church, founded by Robert Morris, from 2001 to 2007. He claimed he didn’t know that Morris had allegedly abused Cindy Clemishire when she was 12 years old.
New Life elder Scott Palmer told the congregation on Sunday, June 22, that the elders believed Boyd’s insistence that he didn’t know Clemishire’s age was untrue. It is the primary reason the elders asked Boyd to step down.
On the Psalm 68 Ministries Facebook page, the Boyds say, “In almost 30 years of ministry, we have never experienced an attack such as this, and it was people like you who carried us through with your love, prayers, encouragement and kindness.”
Psalm 68 will immediately support projects, including building a high school in Guatemala, feeding and providing clean drinking water to children in Nicaragua through Nourish International, and building a new church and drilling a well in the Dominican Republic.
The Boyds also plan to coach and care for pastors, “especially those who have been wounded by the rigors of ministry.”
Any gifts made to Psalm 68 Ministries will be “overseen and audited” by the leaders at Trinity Fellowship Church in Amarillo, Texas.
“We plan on basing out of Colorado Springs and will be operating under the authority of the elders of Trinity Fellowship Church in Amarillo, TX,” the Facebook posts state. “Ironically, the Lord led us there in the 1990’s [sic] when we had been spiritually bruised and needed healing. Once again, this beautiful congregation has provided us with an oasis of friendship and wisdom.”
Trinity Fellowship was founded and led for 30 years by Jimmy Evans, who now is an “apostolic elder” at the church. Evans was also involved at Gateway Church as the lead apostolic senior pastor, but resigned in 2020 “after expressing deep concern over the dishonest and toxic leadership environment created by Robert Morris and the Gateway leadership.”
Evans has denied knowing about Clemishire’s age when Morris allegedly abused her.
